The show was cancelled by Jessica 7th Heaven in season six. Her stellar performance in the role of a teenager Casey Jackson in the film Ulee's Gold brought her instant fame. The film even awarded her the title of award for the Best Young Supporting Actress in the movie. Summer Catch is a great illustration of her talents. In spite of her outstanding performance, Rules of Attraction was not a big hit. It was later that the public was drawn to her role as a character in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. Also, she has acted in suspense films, and has proven herself to be a professional actor.
