Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actor for more than an entire decade. Her roles include The Shield as well as True Blood. In the years since her first appearance, she has shown her range of talents by appearing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. When she was in her teens she was a student for five years studying classical music as well as dancing. Her most loved subject was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of architecture at the time she won the title of Miss World in 1994. She was catapulted into modeling's top lane by the title. The lucrative work she did for PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine along with her spokesmodel agreement with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. The actress's career was off well by being praised for her performances as a lead in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both of these films challenged the fundamental form that was prevalent in Bollywood movies at the time, which pushed Bachchan to the forefront of Bollywood's New Bollywood. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood because of her heartbreaking portrayal in Paro, who is an unfaithful love interest character in Devdas (2002) which is one of Bollywood's most popular movies. Devdas also happened to become the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. The following year she won great acclaim for her portrayal as Chokher Bali (2003) an intense drama inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's story. Bachchan was the very first Indian to serve on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a ballet and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Her star-power and elegance was brought to the very first English-language major film. The actress came back to Bollywood for the smash Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked: A True Story (2006) in English. Abhishek Bachchan is an Bollywood star and frequent co-star. The actor is also the father of Amitabh Bachchan.
