Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 to 2019she was the artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. The producer was also and costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC when she was its Artistic Director. Though she typically led inside her ensemble of actors In her final year of work alongside SSC King Lear, she was promoted to director and lighting designer.
