Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She is currently a fighter within the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 followed by a medal of bronze in 2008, and a gold medal gold in 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia started her professional career in 2003 and won her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016, and also the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in her fight at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko set her first professional MMA record in 2002 during KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the fight via TKO in round 2. Her two subsequent matches were held at the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged absence in MMA. She was back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa with a unanimous win. She went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. In 2018, she resigned from the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round through knees to the body. Antonina Shevchenko was given the UFC contract after the victory. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC in The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial fight via an unanimous decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the fight of the night bonus for the bout. Shevchenko went 2-2 in the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
