Sasha Allen who is an openly transgender transgender female singer who made it onto the Live Shows of The Voice set the record straight the moment they reached it. She was the first during the 21 years of The Vocal competitions Sasha had made it beyond The Battle Rounds. They are now the two are from Newtown, Conn., has gone one step closer to making it to the Top 8! Sasha announced his transgender status when they presented their audition packages at the Blind Auditions. According to Parade.com it was an easy decision. "That was a difficult choice to make as you are showing a very personal and vulnerable aspect of yourself in front of millions and millions viewers," said Sasha, who went through a transition while in high school. This past week, during fans week, witnessing the people's support and their reactions, and how the people reacted that it was well-worth the risk. "We played it before The Voice was even a reality show for us. It was quite a surprise. We knew the song, and were familiar with and had some plans to put it together. The crowd definitely hit the mark."
